Founders Jordan Beer and Richie Nelsen graduated from Colorado State University (CSU) in 2011 from the Warner College of Natural Resources.
Jordan has 15 years of professional experience in social science research, working with CSU and Resource Systems Group (RSG) as a Field Manager. Jordan has participated in and managed numerous studies examining visitor use experience, volumes, patterns, carrying capacities, and transportation modeling for the National Park Service and United States Forest Service. Jordan has a strong commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship.
Richie has spent the last 15 years in information technology at CSU. He is currently overseeing all IT operations for the CSU College of Business. Richie is also strongly passionate about entrepreneurship and has founded and co-founded several companies, gaining valuable experience at each endeavor.
Jordan and Richie created Gaia Environmental Consulting with one goal in mind: to make the world a better place.
